CRABS ANYONE?

Today is the day we have been longing for - to feast on seremban's ultimate delicacy, BARBEQUED CRABS.. oohlala
This is the ever famous restaurant, Seremban seafood village. Luckily, we managed to find a parking space just outside the entrance. There were so many people queueing up to get a table. Rufah managed to book one for us earlier.
And finally food galore! The first dish which arrived was the sweet and sour pork. Nothing to shout about but crispy and tasty nevertheless. We also ordered kailan and spinach stir fried with garlic. We also opted for some seaweed soup which was way too salty.. sad betul, maybe it was because it was too crowded that day..
Oh this is the bamboo lala with kamheong sauce. Quite good, very addictive and keeps u wanting for more and more and more
And now!! the CRABS!!! this is the crabs cooked in butter and cheese. Doesnt it make u drool? The crabs were fresh and it wasnt too cheesy in flavour. A very unique dish and receives thumbs up from everyone
This is the star of the night! The BARBEQUED CRABS!!!! this dish was seen on every other table because it was simply that good. The flesh was so fresh and soft and seriously juicy and succulent and we could actually taste the authentic aroma of the crabs itself. The sauce used to marinate the crabs was just right.
Would definitely come back for another treat soon!

bali punya bumbu

yay here are some long overdue pics of rufah's 21st! we went to bumbu bali in puchong.. the 2 storey corner restaurant has an open air concept with a homely balinese ambience completed with paintings, teak wood and lighted lanterns.. the food was impressive in big portions and i personally like the freshness of the ingredients and condiments used. the drinks served are quite unique as well

aaawwww how sweet.. ru fah being given a kiss each on the cheeks by his two adorable housemates!

signs you're in love

i've let rufah hog the blog limelight for quite a while now. sorry dear, have to displace your photo. but i never like to leave a blog abandoned for too long.

well, my latest post is something most of you know about already, but hey, a good checklist once in a while never does anyone any harm. so here goes.

Number 10 You've forgotten your ex(if you had one)
More often than not, a breakup is followed by a significant amount of time spent thinking about her and wondering whether or not you guys made the right decision in going your seperate ways. Depending on how long the two of you were together, these doubts can resurface again and again. Ever since you met her , however, the thought of getting back together with your ex is the furthest thing from your mind. Come to think of it, you barely recall what you found so great about your ex in the first place.

Number 9 You can't stop thinking about her
you're consumed by thoughts of her . She just pops into your head for no apparent reason, and you wonder if she thinks of you half as much as you think of her. You wonder what she's up to and even consider calling her (but refrain from doing so for fear of looking overeager).But it gets worse. You're out with your friends and you see something in a shop window and think about how much she would like that particular item, or you notice a poster for a show that she would love, but normally wouldn't even have looked twice at it. If she's the last thing on your mind before you go to sleep and the first thing on your mind when you wake up -- and you've even dreamed of her on a couple of occasions -- then you don't really even need to read on to know if you're in love (but should anyway, just to be sure).

Number 8 You care about her
you want to know all about her: who she is, what she thinks, what makes her laugh. You truly care about her and her feelings.you feel bad if she had a bad day or is upset about something. You don't try to cheer her up because you have to , but because you can't help it.

Number 7 You find her quirks charming
The fact that she carries her bag with her everywhere she goes -- just in case -- and that, when she's eating, she asks you why you're not taking enough, fills you with an inexplicable feeling of happiness.She does and says things that make her different, and you like it. You can't quite put your finger on why, but it doesn't even matter. You like her just the way she is.

Number 6 You have chemistry
If you and her seem to always be on the same wavelength, and think in similar ways, that's a great sign. if you both share common interests even better!

Number 5 You don't notice other women as much
Although you can't help noticing a beautiful woman when one walks by, when you're in love, some of them tend to slip under the radar, while others just pale in comparison to her. Furthermore, you don't seem to be flirting half as much as you used to.You are slowly realizing that she's often the only woman in the room that matters, and, for some reason, that suits you just fine.

Number 4 You love spending time with her
This one is pretty obvious but important nonetheless. You look forward to seeing her, and don't care much about what the two of you will be doing. Lately, just getting a smile from her when she asks you how you are simply brightens up your day.Furthermore, when you're not together, you miss her and wish you were.

Number 3 You don't mind compromising sometimes
There was a time when it was your way or the highway, but, with her it's different. Not that she asks you to, but you don't mind missing a night out with the guys to be with her. And you find yourself trying to incorporate her into your plans or altering them to accomodate her. Although your friends find this very amusing, you know that deep down, they wish that they had found a love like yours.

Number 2 Other priorities take a backseat
You used to hang around with the guys, but lately, if you get to meet her for even a few minutes in the library you're willing to rush after class. Your ever-important "to-do" list seems quite stagnant these days, as being with her always manages to render your other plans and obligations obsolete.

Number 1 You start thinking about the future and she's in it
It used to be that the future meant tomorrow night, but, with her, the future seems infinite. Not only do you plan to see her this weekend, but you want to see her a year from now as well.When planning your next vacation, you know you want to spend it with her, and not a random beach bunny you happen to meet while you're there. And when you get an invitation to a friend's wedding years from now, you want to ask her to be your date, without thinking that it's too far away to tell if you are/still together.

gossipqueen is a little irked that people have misunderstood the purpose of this blog. read the first post dears. this is not a scandalous blog, its all done in good nature and for harmless fun.

most people love a good chinwag anyway. But before you go racing off to spread the latest tidbit, it pays to differentiate between "good" gossip and "bad" gossip. Gossip that exchanges information about our friends, and brings a sense of "togetherness" can be regarded as beneficial to the individual. But spreading malicious lies does not fall under the category of "good" gossip. Bad gossip also includes talking to a person about the behaviors of a third party, while trying to drag the listener into a vicious, bitching match.

if gossipgirl is not mistaken, her posts involved people who do not mind her talking about them.
like a certain voodoo child commented, if a person do not mind you commenting about them, why do you bother?
make no mistake, gossipgirl HAVE always gotten the permission before posting about the people involved.
if you think this blog is stupid in anyway, well, just don't read it i guess...

my sources have been buzzing around and the multiple eyes of gossipqueen have spotted stuff which i am bursting in anticipation to tell.

SPOTTED: C rushing out of imu's entrance into a vehicle with the number plate WMN 222.
a quick confirmation with sources reveal that it is actually T's car. T came all the way here to see C? is there something hot going on between them? denial is the mask of a futile attempt to conceal. nothing slips by the tight seams of gossipqueen's eyes, C. you of all people should know better.

SPOTTED: blind girl and 88 enjoying a quiet dinner together at a shop near the ipoh chicken rice store. make your move 88! it never pays to wait. strike while the iron is hot or face the possibility of losing her!

SPOTTED: a member of our batch walking a girl home to vista C after supper. gossipqueen has new found respect for him. never have i thought that he had it in him to do such a brave thing. good going sport, its a good sign when a girl decides to go out with you. gossipqueen will follow the exciting prospect of a new found relationship(?) very closely. you can count on that

u see larh!!!! gossip queen went on vacation for only 2 months and the blog has turned into some unacceptable mushy-lovesick-emo nest. disgusting. gossipqueen is an emo hater.

well well well, u all thought i was too lazy to update didnt you? the truth is, gossipqueen has been lurking around in the shadows as usual. never seen, never noticed but always there.
This time around, our batchmates seem to be falling for pretty semester 1 juniors. Run you naive juniors! run! the library is no longer a safe haven. hahaha.

Spotted: G diligently visiting the library each morning at ungodly hours. perhaps he's getting all worked up for summative. OR perhaps a certain miss P is the secret behind is enthusiasm. i wonder...

Spotted: R at the first floor cheekily waving to junior R. R offered to do junior R's AIR topic so that junior R could join him in MV. from AFC to smooth PUA in a matter of minutes. impressive..

Spotted: A melting after K called out his name and smiled so ever sweetly at him. gossipqueen thinks this boy is really really confused.

Spotted: A, K, D, A and J whispering in the library. gossipgirl overheard A teasing K after K said that fancies C. =D

well, enough for now i think. don't want to blow my cover. people get too nosy and suspicious some times.
a last mention: we never really thought this could happen. S and A. is there a thing going on between them. gossipqueen was invited by S for A's surprise birthday party. could it possibly be? i'm not too sure. but then again, anonymous saw S carrying a bouquet of flowers for A and gossipqueen heard S bought A's prom dress. what about D?? what exactly is going on? there's bound to be interesting events lurking on the horizon. And you know who will be waiting at the scene when it happens? why, gossipqueen, of course.

SPOTTED, a prominent fellow batchmate of m206 carrying a HUGE bouqeut of roses, running towards vista B in the rain. when i say prominent i mean prominent in lectures (hint 1). so who is this prominent dude? and to whom are those lovely flowers? hehehe.. is this ANYTHING to do with tmr's long awaiting IMUBALL2008? i'll just let u into another clue.. he's not chinese.. and he's not malay.. which leaves er...?? (not trying to be racist here, just trying to b helpful you know, giving out clues..XD) i really wonder what's he trying to do with that huge bouquet.. maybe planning a marriage proposal? you know la..PMS matching soon mar.. engage liao then can go same uni with your partner ma.. keke:p whoever you are, if you are reading this, don't take this too seriously k im just kidding around.

ok it's time for FOOD gossip!!!

there is this place at the curve which i have been actually eyeing on for quite some time but didnt get to try until recently

it's actually a german restaurant, this place has a really cosy and warm feeling to it, very rustic and country like, perfect to dine with great company!

the restaurant is *drumrolls* Bavarian Bierhaus! *located behind the apartment and tgif*

so we browsed through the menu and we started salivating!

their specialty was pork knuckle!! it came in 2 flavours the salty and sweet honey roasted!

we saw every table having a pork knuckle and we were seduced immediately!

we also saw a few tables having a basket of really interesting bread and pretzels but we didnt try them

alas, we opted to go for the sausages! it came with a generous helping of radish, yummy mustard sauce and sauteed onions! really delicious i tell u the sausages! huge, succulent and tasty!

and of course we ordered the pork knuckle!!! we went for the honey roasted one.. the skin was simply crunchy and sweet because of the honey. the pork flesh was alright, but we thought it would've been perfect if it was a little softer.. it came with radish as well. and not forgetting strips of wonderful bacon1 the bacon was really good i must say! overall, great food but a little pricey.. however no regrets at all

so go give bavarian bierhaus a try if u wanna go german for the night!

Stop ! Look around you, and then walk slowly to the window, push the curtains and look outside. What can you see? What can you hear? Words, numbers, light, sounds, colours and many more. Are they really so different, or do they have any resemblance? Yes they look different, but they have something in common - they are SIGNS.

Okay, let me ask you something. How do you know when someone is emo? He'll look dull and sad. His eyes are in despair. You see it, it's a SIGN.
How do you know when to stop playing around when your girlfriend is angry? Because you fear her anger, you feel it deep in your heart. Once again, another SIGN.
How would you know when your boyfriend is calling? Simple. Your phone rings, you hear it, you know it. It's another SIGN

And also, how do you know when to off the microwave when your "pao" is burning? Well, as far as we know from one house, the kitchen will be full of smoke. And you can smell it. A SIGN of smell.
Furthermore, how do you know that your patient is having mitral stenosis? You palpate him to look for thrills. You touch and feel it. You'll find SIGNS of heart disease.

As you can see, there are a lot of signs. But nothing is more meaningful and beautiful than something known as the fated sign. Yes, the fated sign. You will wanna ask, what is it? Yes... and I mean you, Ru Fah, I mean you. I know you wanna know what is it, don't you. And stop laughing Chui Yen, I know you're reading this too, and I know you also have no idea what it is. You too Joon Heng, don't smile there, I know you're reading my post.

Alright, this is no ordinary sign. It's a sign that two persons carry - not by two guys of course, that would be so gay. But it is carried by one guy and one girl since they're born, a sign gifted by the gods that shows they might be fated to each other. Like Aragorn and Princess Arwen in the Lord of the Rings, they came from different worlds but fated to be together forever no matter what happens!

And not too long ago, someone among our friends has found that magical fated sign carried by two persons. Two persons who have no idea that they're carrying it, two persons who have no idea that they might have a chance together, and I mean might. You might wanna ask another question, what sign is it, how does it look like, right Kah Weng?

That is for you all to find out, observe your friends. But no matter what, no matter how, time will tell.

Whether those who carry the fated signs are fated towards each other or not, only time will tell.

rabbitytales

Deep in the mountains of Jalil on the 2nd eastern hill and 124th burrow, there lives a rabbit, who has been staying in the great great mountains for arnd two years. In these two years, rabbit has met lots of funny strange frens, they are the monkey, pig, wild boar, bear, buffalo and etc etc.

One sunny day, as usual, rabbit went out to have lunch with his animal frens in the enchanted forest of sri petaling not far away from jalil mountains. They had a great feast that day, especially buffalo, bcuz bottomless food juz kept coming to him. He’s eating like no other ppl’s business. It seems to be buffalo’s lucky day, but not as lucky as rabbit, cuz sumthing wonderful happened to him after the lunch…. But, what is it….

After lunch, rabbit decided to return to mountains of jalil with a friend. So they walked together. Not very long, they alr entered the mystical jalil mountains. So they walked n walked n walked until they reached a place with lots of tall humongous trees. As they were passing through a huge frangipani tree, suddenly rabbit noticed an animal coming out from the bushes behind the frangipani trees, without thinking, he quickly alerted this friend of his.

As they looked closely, they realized that it is another RABBIT. N it’s a female, she was so sweet that she captured rabbit's heart… OMG… And that was when miracle happened. They 3 were walking on the same path, until they reached a place with dark thick grass where the sunlight couldn't be seen anymore, and that was when female rabbit decided to turn arnd cuz she was afraid to go further into the dark fearing of ugly evil witches which feast on barbecued rabbit meat.
So our rabbit decided to go ahead and see if there’s any danger, but there isn’t. The dark grass is due to shadows from the tall trees. So female rabbit decided to follow rabbit n rabbit's fren into the dark grass area. Soon, both the rabbit started talking to each other, So as they walk, they talked, they laughed, they smiled and magical sparks can be seen. Even rabbit's fren thinks that both of them look alike especially when they smile..aawwww

Soon, female rabbit reached her kingdom. And it is time to say bye bye. So, before she left, she gave a sweet smile and said Bye to rabbit. At the same time, a beautiful rainbow was seen beyond the mountains! Then she left. At the same time, rabbit was feeling so nervous and hot, so hot until he almost burned down the trees in the mountains. So that is how rabbit met female rabbit. Even though he wont see her very often in the future, but her sweet smile will always be with him in his heart until death do them part. Maybe he already met the one he wants.

the mesmerising clear turquoise sea makes u feel like u are in neverland
the fishes which bite u and leave strange rashes for days
our stranded boat for about 1 hour in the middle of the ocean which made us dizzy and thus initiating the infectious vomitting nightmare
the jacuzzi pool in laguna resort which gave us good good massage
one of our brothers using soap to brush his teeth on the last day
the buffet which turned everyone into gluttons haha
eheh but the satay and peanut sauce super syok and the keropok lekor also
the night walk along the long sandy beach where we just relaxed on the hammocks and syok sendiri with cam whore sessions
haha lots of magical moments leh
oh before we left for redang we also tried the famous ikan bakar and nasi lemak in matts place, sungai pelek
we ordered sting ray bakar oohlala the flesh was so smooth and the asam sambal to go with the fish was good..
the calamari goreng was also fresh and crunchy, not forgetting the fragrant nasi lemak with superb sambal and fried egg!

then after that was serdang hospital attachment
the hospital was quite chun also la looked really futuristic and big from outside
inside also well equiped and quite comfy
thanks to aarons aunt and uncle for planning everything for us
hehe saw polypectomy, all sorts of endoscopy
learnt to read ecg a bit here and there
and also saw how an angiogram was being done.. very sophisticated
also tried some food around serdang and mines area
had really good pan mee introduced by sheahlin big bowl delicious soup springy noodles
also tried leong ya in mines, famed for the chee pau kai, paper wrapped chicken and curry seafood and yong tau foo and braised pork with salted fish, we sapu-ed everything habis i tell u..
so go give this restaurant a try, a little hidden gem near mines wonderland

after attachment we went kuantan
haha met cheng, chui yen, delia and xin
but before that we visited aarons super chun mansion in mentakab
thanks for the warm hospitality auntie and uncle choy lol
tried the satay and ikan bakar in mentakab not bad also
then in kuantan we went to the mini zoo where a monkey or was it a babboon? tried to pull xin's hair when she was posing for the camera.. hahaha thinking back now it was really funny kekeke
we also made funny noices to make the peacock to buka its feathers

congrats to cheng yee on going on to the next round of imu idol
your voice wowed the judges leh..
haha got special support from someone that day also kekeke jkjk jangan marah

so they are all back home safe n sound.
wonder why the title is like this?
because there were 20 of them...
they celebrated delia's 20th birhtday..
with 20 beautiful candles....
and many other memories that are uncountable.

snorkelling, volleyball, football, swimming, chilling, camwhoring, drinking, dares, talking, and etc.
terrible boat rides. nauseating. some even vomitted. dizzy.
weirdest dares ever heard. not right. shall not be mentioned and wat happened there stays there!
loving couples enjoying themselves.
great buffet food. all you can eat.
ps2 hogging whenever there is free time.
the sea with beautiful fishes swimming around. corals and nemo. big huge waves.
the beach with soft fine sand and strong wind.
fun fun fun and more fun.


it was all good. wait.. not just good but great!

*i have disappeared for quite some time*

well, M108 orientation has begun and some of our batchmates have volunteered their services as infiltrators.
yesterday was the dry ice breakers. the orientation this time spans for 2 weeks since the M107 people have summative to deal with.

perhaps they didnt have enough time to get their act together but gossipqueen feels that the orientation planned by M206 was way better. haha.

gossipqueen feels like strangling the president when he introduces himself as keng 'kisuke' seng. but other than that gossipqueen thinks he is a pleasant chap.

perhaps gossipqueen do not have the right to say this, but she will anyway.
she feels the committee members are a little syok sendiri. most of the time the juniors were left sitting down and looking at the committee laughing and having fun not aware of the joke.
some OOs commented that their orientation(planned by M206) were MUCH MORE organized.
guess we have our president to thank for this.
but gossipqeen liked the bomb bomb game and thinks sookyeen did a good job.

okay..so as usual when gossipqueen blogs, there is usually some juicy tale to tell.
SPOTTED: junior(female) carrying an umbrella for infiltrator, JL. junior and JL walked together in the rain towards vista B.
